February Birthdays

We've got some Birthday Boys at our house.
I can't believe that Austin is ten years old!
Time is moving too fast around here.
He invited four friends over for a party and a sleep over.
For Austin, nothing is better than spending time with his friends.

Greg's birthday is just nine days later, so we got to celebrate with his mom and dad that Sunday after church.  We are so lucky to have good friends and family around to help us celebrate.  Hope we don't start a forest fire with that flame!  Exactly how many candles are on that cake?

Skiing the Steep and Deep

We have had so much fun this year skiing with the family at Grand Targhee.  The snow has been heavenly, and the sunshine is awesome.  At Targhee, the powder is always deep and the lines short.  We really enjoy our time on the mountain.

Austin and Clayton have really stepped it up this year.  It is so fun to have everyone together skiing down from the big lift.  Cameron and Nathan follow Greg in being super smooth on the slopes.  Clayton will for sure pass me up by next season.  That gives me nearly two more years with Austin before he too passes up my abilities.

Oh well, at least I can still enjoy the beauty.

CHRISTMAS CARD GREETINGS

We are so grateful for all of our family and friends.

Here's hoping that everyone has
very best holiday season ever!

WANTED

FOR MASTERFUL MISCONDUCT
Clayton (12) and Austin (9) are accused of being the most awesome elementary students ever! Reputedly, they are fantastic snow skiers, wakeboarders, and soccer players. They have also been known to accumulate extraordinarily large numbers of AR reading points. Alleged activities include an after-school LEGO Robotics club, scouts, and piano lessons. Clayton is suspected of becoming a deacon. Reportedly Austin received a trophy for earning 900.3 AR points last year, making him the district champion. Known accomplices include GameBoys, insulin pumps, and smiles.

FOR DASTARDLY DEEDS
Cameron (16) and Nathan (18) are accused of dating after the age of 16, driving with a driver’s license, and being on the BHS Student Council. They claim to be hot, adorable, and otherwise incredibly good-looking. Allegedly they excel at piano, Jazz Band, singing, and finally completing the paperwork for their Eagle Scout Awards. Nathan’s known accomplices are his guitar, his keyboard, his tux, and his car. Cameron’s known accomplices are his tennis racquet, his racquetball racquet, his ping pong paddle, and his moccasins. Purportedly Nathan graduates next spring (Go Class of 2009!). And, according to Cameron’s insistence, contrary to what this picture suggests they are roughly equal in height.
